Winter Wonderland
Every year millions of tourists leave the Niagara area when summer is over. They miss out on a most spectacular site. The ice trees of Goat Island are a marvel to see. If you are lucky and catch a sunny day the trees come to life and sparkle like diamonds against a rich blue sky. This would be a great place for some outdoor images for a winter wedding. If you get a chance check out the island and these amazing trees.

Gift Portraits
Here is a nice example of brothers and sisters getting together for a nice portrait of themselves for their parents. We did this picture on location and then cleared some background distractions and added a custom border mat. i think it turned out great and will make a great gift for their parents. NFHS Holiday Concert 2009
The NFHS Holiday Concert was a wonderful treat. Very well done. The students did an amazing show that left everyone in the Christmas spirit. Here are a few images from that event.
Chocolate ...Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
We went to Hershey Pa and took the Chocolate tour. Nice place. If you are in the area you should stop in. Everyone loves chocolate and oh man fresh chocolate is awesome. Here are a few pics from the, " How chocolate is made tour".
Opening Day
8:00 am today started the season for Niagara's Purple Eagles Basketball. The Eagles enjoyed a ten point lead most of the game over Drexel at the Gallagher Center on the NU campus. Drexel pressed hard at the finish but came up short as the Purple Eagles won 74-69. Today's game was televised on ESPN and Niagara Falls High School Band provided the music. Trick or Treats
Happy Halloween. Here is a couple pics of my grand kids. Nathan dressed as a mail carrier just like his daddy and Ellie is dressed as a Duck. They are 20 mos and 3 mos. old.

Congratulations Jason & April
A " WoW! " wedding. We had a great time photographing the wedding day of Jason Strong to April McGaffick. They tied the knot at Zion Lutheran Church in Gasport. Then the reception was held at the Lockport Locks & Erie Canal Cruises. Very nice indeed. Everyone was invited to a cruise on the Erie Canal and after the trip a delicious dinner and dancing afterwards at their banquet facility. We got some wonderful pictures of their wedding day. We had the pleasure this week to photograph the wedding of John Scott & Kimberly New. They came from New Mexico to be united at the Lutheran Church of the Messiah in Lewiston, NY. They brought their two beautiful children, Tess & Lilly. The reception was held at the Barton Hill after we took environmental pics by the river, We captured some great images for two most wonderful families. Home Coming Dance
My daughter Christina and her boyfriend Nick let me shoot a few pictures before they went to Niagara Falls High School's home coming dance on Saturday night. They look great.
Fall is here...
We didn't have a wedding this weekend so Wendy and I went apple picking. If you haven't tried it you should. we went to Blackman Farms in Cambria. A great place to take the kids. Besides the 10 varieties of apples they also have pears. They have pumpkins, a petting zoo, turkeys, goats, cows, hay bail maze, an many many apple products like cider and apple butter. We had a great time picking 18 lbs. of apples but you can buy them already picked too. Their apple cider is delicious.
