Focus Stacking

In all likelihood I did not need 27 images to make this picture. But the detail is awesome. Focus stacked 27 images in ZereneStacker and finished with PS 2020.

You can adjust the color to set a mood in your images. Here I experimented with a white balance at 2780 and A-B 6 G-M 0.

Remember When?

Throw back to 1998 when I purchased my first digital camera. A 1.5 megapixel Sony Cybershot DSC 770. This was the cutting edge of digital photography at the time. All my professional photographer friends pooh poohed the new technology. They cried out, " It will never replace film! ", " It's just a fad, don't waste your money! ". They all spent their entire careers learning film photography and weren't about to embark on the new learning curve of digital photography. Well, we all know how that worked out. I saw great potential in being able to control my images from start to finish with the instant gratification digital offered. So I jumped in head first and never regretted a thing. Here are the Sony Cybershot DSC-D770 specifications. Now I look at these stats compared to todays cameras and can't believe how much photography has changed. I believe I paid $1995 at the time for my camera. Imager Optical Size 1/2" Imager Type Progressive Scan, RGB Primary Color Filter,Square Pixel CCD Number of Pixels 1.5Mil.
