Aw Rats

Digital art. The king takes a rat queen to be his mate. He sits on his throne with his pet cat presiding over his kingdom of rats.

Honey House

Ok maybe I am a little confused about this medium and I am still learning. Apparently if you declare that it's AI and you're not trying to pass it off as photography or painting it's ok. It's referred to as Digital Art. This scene is supposed to be a cartoonish bee hive dripping with honey in a colorful field of wild flowers in the Swiss Alps.

Cowgirl vs Killer Bee

Here's another example of AI with Photoshop(Beta) The prompt was: Realistic photography of dense white clouds in the shape of a huge mammoth. The morning sun breaks through the clouds, to realistic Thai countryside, A Cowgirl standing proud with her sheepdog in the foreground. This is too funny and took exactly 3 minutes to create. Primetime stuff for the photographer who is too lazy to go out and brave the elements or the artist who doesn't feel like painting all day.

Or how about a photo quality realistic robotic bee viewed from ground level.

The Aftermath

Looks pretty grim. Was this a hurricane or possibly a tornado? A flood maybe?  Did anyone survive?  Will they be able to rebuild?  We will never know because this place doesn't exist. The scene was made with AI ( artificial intelligence ). You give the program prompts of what you want it to create and it will comb the internet and give you suggestions with images of what it thinks you want. You keep what you like and then add on to it until you complete your image. I used Photoshop (Beta) for this image. It does have limitations, some prompts it won't do probably so they don't get sued. I have seen more sophisticated programs like Midjourney but they charge you by the prompt. I am still open to exploring this medium but seems geared to people who can articulate their thoughts effectively without the need for any photographic skills or artistry. So will it still be considered talent? Maybe. What about the thousands upon thousands of artists and photographers who worked their entire lives to master their craft only to be challenged artfully by  guy pushing a few buttons and writing a few prompts and calling it art all the while culling images off the internet from  real artists. Society and the art world have a lot to think about now.
